The two-minute method that actually works
Do not order off your usual size. “Medium” means something different at every brand, and a made-to-order shirt is a slower thing to exchange than one off a shelf. There is a better way and it takes about two minutes.
- Find a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of. Not your favourite shirt emotionally — the one that fits the way you want this one to fit.
- Lay it flat on a table or a bed. Smooth it out so the fabric is not bunched.
- Measure pit to pit: straight across the chest, from one armpit seam to the other. Do not go around the body.
- Measure shoulder to hem: from the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the bottom edge.

What the fit is like
Everything in the shop is a unisex, standard fit in sizes S through 2XL — both the $32 t-shirts and the $40 heavyweight crewneck sweatshirts.
Standard fit means it is cut straight rather than tapered, and it is not a slim fit. Three rules cover almost everyone:
- Between sizes? Size up. A slightly loose tee reads as intentional; a slightly tight one does not.
- Want it properly oversized? Size up twice.
- Usually wear women's sizing? Unisex tends to run roomier through the shoulder and boxier through the body. Most people find one size down from their usual unisex guess works, but this is exactly the case where the measuring method above is worth the two minutes.
Planning to do a lot of dumpster diving in it? Size up.
Layering
The crewnecks are fleece-backed and genuinely heavy — they are the thing you reach for in October, not a thin sweatshirt. If you want room for a hoodie or a thick layer underneath, size up. If you want it fitted over a t-shirt only, take your normal size.
If you get it wrong anyway
Return it unworn and unwashed within 30 days of delivery and you will get a refund. See the full return policy for details.
For a different size specifically, the fastest route is to return the original and place a new order rather than waiting on an exchange — everything is printed to order, so a new order starts production immediately. Email me and I will help sort it.
And if it arrives damaged, or I sent the wrong thing, that is on me: send a photo within 30 days and I will replace or refund it at no cost to you, shipping included.
Care, so it stays the right size
Machine wash cold and inside out. Tumble dry low. Keep the iron off the print. Hot washes and hot dryers are what shrink a shirt and crack a print, and made-to-order garments are no more forgiving of that than any other.
The canvas totes are the exception — spot clean or cold hand wash, then hang to dry. Canvas shrinks in a tumble dryer.
