Gulf Visitor 01 is a Wrong Habitat visitor story from the upper Gulf of California. The panda stays on the shore in a hand-sewn coastal costume while a vaquita surfaces beyond the tide line. The vaquita is the smallest porpoise in the world and the rarest marine mammal — only a handful are thought to remain, all in this one corner of the gulf. A quiet, restrained print for a very quiet animal.
