The Octopus

Cold open water, forty feet down, very little light. The resident here has three hearts, blue blood, and eight arms that solve problems without checking with the brain first. It tastes with its skin. It can fit through any gap wider than its beak, which is the only hard part of it.

A panda has none of these features. A panda is one heart, four limbs and a great deal of density. It would sink, and it would be the only thing down here unable to change shape.
